Update 10/27/2018: All looks like it’s resolved now. The title is back for sale and the preorder is set for delivery 10/29. Yay! 🙂
Some of you may have noticed that The Queen’s Pardon is currently listed as “not for sale” on Amazon.com. This is NOT an issue with the release date or on my end.
Amazon appears to be having some problems and several authors have found that one or more books are in this state for no apparent reason.
On my end, the final manuscript has been uploaded and everything appears ready to go for the 10/29 release.
So, what does this actually mean for you and getting the book, whether you preordered, plan to purchase on 10/29, or are in Kindle Unlimited?
Unfortunately, I can’t answer that because I don’t know.
Hopefully, they will have this resolved before 10/29 and everything will work fine, though I’ll have had no sales while the book’s in this state.
I’m sorry, but that’s the best information I have right now.
Bah humbug.
+1
I hope everything turns out okay, and not just because I love your books. As a reader, getting books on time (especially a pre-order) is a big part of the experience. I imagine that not just the income, but knowing that your readers – customers – are having a good experience is important. Sending good thoughts your way!
Absolutely. I wish it was only a problem or delay in the royalties, which we have from time to time from the ‘Zon — but people have been looking forward to the next Carew book and I hate that there might be a problem with delivery. It looks like it’s fixed now, though, so fingers crossed.
Any date/plans for this coming out as an audiobook?
Cheers!
I keep looking everyday for the audiobook release on Audible. Any idea when that might happen?
Just finished. Wonderful, and I will be reading again. Looking forward to the audio to. I noticed it has gone missing for several of my Kindle books and on Audible but I assume this is a temporary problem. Thank you for your work
Following up on Martin’s question will there be an audio version and if so any info concerning when it will be available. Enjoy listening to Elizabeth Klett’s take on your characters, I hope she is available to record No. 6!
I appreciated the updates, and it served to remind me to buy. btw, I thought it was your best work yet. Very solid writing. GJ!
